Meal Plans - Summer 2015 Meal plans are optional during the summer semester. Individuals who are enrolled in one or more summer terms or employed are eligible to purchase a summer meal plan. Students can select a summer meal plan online beginning April 1 after they are pre-registered/registered for summer classes. Employees can select a summer meal plan online beginning April 1. Employees will be required to submit payment by credit/debit card at that time to complete the ordering process. Employees who prefer to pay by check can come to the Student Services office in SIH 220 to sign up and pay. Summer 2015 Meal Plans There are three summer meal plans available, each comprised of varying amounts of Meal Plan Dining Dollars. Meal Plan Dining Dollars is a declining balance account that can be used for purchases at all UAB Campus Restaurants locations. A list of locations and hours for summer 2015 is available here. Plan 1 - $500.00 Meal Plan Dining Dollars Plan 2 - $350.00 Meal Plan Dining Dollars Plan 3 - $200.00 Meal Plan Dining Dollars Summer meal plans can be used May 1 – August 7. At the conclusion of the summer semester any unused funds in Meal Plan Dining Dollars will be removed from the meal plan account the day after the last day of final exams. Summer 2015 Meal Plan Deadlines 4/1 Summer 2015 meal plan selection available online for pre-registered students and UAB Employees 5/1 First day to use summer 2015 meal plans 8/7 Last day to use summer 2015 meal plans and 2014-15 Dining Dollars Student Meal Plan Payments After charges are posted to the student account, payments for meal plans can be made to the Student Accounting Office in person, by mail and online. To pay in person, visit the Cashier’s Office in LHL 110. To pay by mail, send a check for your meal plan payment to: UAB STUDENT ACCOUNTING SERVICES LHL 110 1720 2nd AVE S BIRMINGHAM, AL 35294-0013 Payment via the web can be done through BlazerNET.
