Meal Plans - Fall 2014 and Spring 2015
Fall and Spring meal plans are a combination of Meals and Flex Dollars.
Meals are accessed via your ONE Card and can be used at the Commons on The Green for our all-you-care-to-eat meals or at any Simply to Go location for
our "Take 3" program. Meals in the Blazer and Gold plans will reset each Sunday night for Monday morning. Students with Blazer plans may use up to 2 of their weekly
meals for guests dining at the Commons on the Green and students with Gold plans may use up to 1 of their weekly meals for a guest.
Flex Dollars is a declining balance account that can be used for purchases at all UAB dining facilities. The cost of the meal plan includes sales tax, so tax will
not be assessed on purchases made with Flex Dollars. At the conclusion of each semester any unused funds in Flex Dollars will be removed from the student’s meal plan
account the day after the last day of final exams.

Meal Plan Payments
After charges are posted to the student account, payments for meal plans can be
made to the Student Accounting Office in person, by mail and online.

To pay in person, visit the Cashier’s Office at LHL Ground Floor 110.

Payment via the web can be done through
BlazerNET. BlazerNET provides a secure connection for credit
card payments.
Payment deadlines for meal plan balances follow the published
